Welcome to the American Association of Daily Money Managers
Greater New York
Chapter

The American Association of Daily Money Managers (AADMM) is a membership organization comprised of individuals who provide daily money management services directly to their own clients. Daily Money Management services typically include personal bookkeeping. The services meet a continuum of needs, from organizing and keeping track of financial and medical insurance papers, to assisting with check writing and maintaining bank accounts. The AADMM is committed to promoting high standards of client services provided by members, and to supporting the growth of the daily money management industry, in numbers of providers, in recognition of the field, and in the quality of services provided. Our mission is to meet the public (or community) need for daily money management services in an ethical manner by providing information and education to members, and developing a network of dedicated professionals.

The Greater New York Chapter of AADMM was officially formed in February of 2010 to serve the Daily Money Managers (DMMs) of the Greater New York area. Our monthly meetings include networking and an educational presentation.

Our Mission is to help and educate people of the role that a Daily Money Manager plays in helping to relieve the burdens, hardships and chores faced by an increasing group of our population. They can be:

  • busy families and households, where both parents are holding down jobs and find little time for enjoying what life has to offer

  • older adults, who have been termed the Sandwich Generation and stuck in the middle caring for their parents and their children

  • seniors who no longer have the capabilities as they used to and their financial commitments haven't changed in their senior years, just their ability to perform them

Their symptoms are:

  • They are stressed out with the complexities of daily living

  • They seem to forget important things that need to be done with their affairs

  • They lead busy lives themselves and don't want to make it any more complicated

Then factor in the economic aspects associated with daily living and the the burdens placed on the families.  They may not live locally but must be able to act if and when the phone rings.  No doubt if you are not dealing with some of these dynamics, you know someone who is.

No matter how overwhelming the situation seems to be, there are ways to get out of this and Daily Money Managers are key to this.
